Arlo's - You are our Sunshine Party!
Our son, Arlo turned three last weekend and this was the outcome after he requested a "sun" & "hulk" dress up party! I often get enquiries about how I style our parties and saw this as a great opportunity to share how I took this, very unique party theme and turned it into a pretty amazing third birthday party.
First up, I let him raid the studio to pick his fave colours, blue, green and of course yellow! These colours formed the basis for all decorations from balloons through to tablescapes and party food.
For the kid’s tablescape we used our Meri Meri sun plates paired with our pastel rainbow range of plates, cups and boxes. A super cute acrylic name tag featuring a sun or rainbow, was crafted by the very talented Ky and Co Creations and used as a place holder for his little friends. The boxes included personalised decals of each child's names and were filled with bubbles, toys and treats. Everything you need for that ultimate sugar high!
The dessert station was a great focal point of the party setup and those balloon filled plinths sure made a statement. To create this look we used our new arched backdrops, custom signage, cake toppers, fun florals and an epic balloon garland, standing out from the crowd the colour palette brought nothing but happiness!
It is always important the adults equally enjoy themselves along with the kiddos. So a DIY cocktail station was in order!
While the parents enjoyed a beverage, sausage sizzle and nibbled away at the grazing boards the kids were entertained by the jumping castle and the amazing Clarty Parties, with face painting, pass the parcel, balloon twisting and more - we can confirm they all had a blast!
Finishing off with a piñata and cutting the 3 cakes... yes THREE!!! Filled with nerds we sent our guests home exhausted.
This birthday bash definitely was a “Sun-Tastic” birthday celebration!
